Privacy policy
Effective October 19, 2026
The short version.
- There's no account and no sign-up. Your plan, pouch log, cravings and slips stay on your iPhone or iPad, and on your Apple Watch if you use the watch app.
- We have no server for app data, so we can't see it. Deleting the app deletes it.
- Apple Health is optional, read-only and limited to resting heart rate. It never leaves your phone.
- Apple handles payments. No analytics, no ads, no tracking, on the app or this website.
The app is made by Iterelle, Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy covers the app for iPhone and iPad, and this website.
The app
The app doesn't have accounts and never asks you to sign up. Your plan, pouch logs, cravings and slips are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. If you use the Apple Watch app, your iPhone sends the plan and your pouch log to your paired watch over Apple's own connection between the two, and the watch sends back what you log there. The widgets read the same copy on your iPhone. None of it goes through Iterelle. Iterelle has no server for app data and can't see any of it. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.
Notifications
Reminders and daily notes are scheduled on your device by the app. They don't go through our servers, because we don't have any.
Apple Health
Connecting Apple Health is optional, and the app works without it. If you turn it on, the app reads resting heart rate only, and shows it as weekly averages. The app never writes to Apple Health, never sends Health data off your phone, never uses it for advertising, and never shares or sells it.
You can turn off access at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices.
Payments
Plus subscriptions are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment, and we never see your card details.
Subscription status
The app checks whether Plus is active with Apple's StoreKit, on your device. Apple signs each purchase and keeps the record on your device, so no one else is involved. Apple tells us how many people subscribe, but not who.
No tracking
The app has no analytics, no ads, no tracking and no data brokers. It doesn't show the App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there's nothing to ask about.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies or analytics. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs, like your IP address and the page you requested, to serve the site.
Children
The app isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. The product is for adults.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example California under the CCPA or the EU and UK under the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, and to know how it's used. Most of the data the app handles never reaches Iterelle, so you're in control of it on your phone and watch: delete the app to delete it. Your purchase history is held by Apple, and you can ask Apple for it at privacy.apple.com. For anything else, email us and we'll reply within 30 days. We don't sell personal data. If you're in the EU, the UK, Norway, Iceland or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
